After Hours
The name "after hours" implies the time of day after work or school; a time for play, for
recreation, for creativity.
Phase 1
This resource is a non-profit initiative that lists and keeps track of certain categories of
special events that take place in the City of Kelowna. Categories include Arts, Entertainment,
Sports and Recreation.
Future phases
When time and financial resources permit, categories may include Ongoing Events (Galleries,
drop-in yoga, etc.), 'Pubs and Clubs', Educational Courses, Market events and more.

Organization links
Each event is cross references to an organization to provide a better understanding of the event. It
also opens more "contact" opportunities and recognizes the efforts of many organizations who define
the vitality of the community.
Venue links
Each event is cross referenced to a venue to provide an added level of comfort for first-timers. A
photo, some physical characteristics and directions can make the difference in one's decision to
attend an event.
Navigation
Many good web sites enable you to quickly locate a date and time for an event, however they are all
slightly different and take a little time to learn. By having the cities of Prince George and
Kelowna utilizing the same site, the learning curve for cross-visiting is reduced considerably.
Data entry
Each entry is looked over to assist the organizer in presenting the information clearly. It also
provides you with consistency in message format.
